Nothing is last forever but if there is something or anything you could do to make it last forever, would you do that? It is true that even people will die and nothing you could do about that. However, what will you do if the population of walrus in Galapagos Island keeps dying and really close to extinction? Some travel destinations below are places you should visit before they vanish forever and those places are also the examples that nothing is last forever but if you try harder, forever is what they will be.
Maldives Islands – Maldives
In the recent years Maldives is one of the world’s favorite travel destination however asides from its spectacular beauty of clear water and white sands the number of Maldives’ small islands is progressively reducing and if the water level keeps raising, Maldives will lose more islands as short as 50 years. Some efforts have been done but Maldives cannot do it alone, they need helps from all people in this world to save their islands.
The Great Barrier Reef – Australia
The best thing about Australia’s sea is its largest coral reef well known as The Great Barrier Reef. In the last decade the reef suffered from distress even the fishy inhabitants are affected. The coral bleaching condition is a bit unnerving and according to scientist those conditions caused by the raising of water temperature and pollution. Just like Maldives will lose their islands in 50 years, this natural wonder will lose its beauty in less than 100 years.
Madagascar’s Wildlife – Madagascar
The popularity of DreamWorks Animation’s Madagascar makes people think that they know enough about Madagascar so they don’t need to give the island a visit. It is actually a surprised that the world’s fourth biggest islands which National Parks are rich of plants that even 80% of them only found in Madagascar only have less than 100 visitors per year. The saddest part is almost 90% of the original forests has been slashed and burnt. And according to the recent data, the population of Lemurs is already in the endangered list.
IS IT TOO LATE TO SAVE THIS GUYS?
The Amazon Rainforest – Brazil
What do you know about Amazon? Amazon is so big and not all parts are fully explored, well the right word is Amazon is used to be big because now more than 40% of the epic rainforest which is also well known as the Earth’s Lungs has been destroyed, slashed and burnt for the sake of illegal logging, mining and agriculture. You would never know, perhaps when you’re old and gray and tell your grandchildren a story about Amazon, they will think it’s some kind of myth like Atlantis.
Alaska – United States of America
The global temperature has significant effect to the wildlife in Alaska especially Polar Bears and Grizzly since they are really depending on the arctic tundra condition in order to stay alive. The scientist has pointed out that in the last decade the global temperature is drastically increasing and the worst result from that condition, there is no more polar bears and grizzly in Alaska.
If you don’t want Amazon to be a myth and lemurs could only be seen through Madagascar The Movie, it is the time for you and for everyone to realize that there’s supposed to be something we could do to stop the global climate change problems. If you could do it globally and then start it individually from the simple things you could do in daily basis.
