China apparently did not want to lose than any other country, even in the art of architecture. After boasting Sky City will build higher than Burj Khalifa and the statue of Mao Zedong worth USD 6.4 billion, China is now officially the largest artificial waterfall in Asia.

Reported Amusing Planet, the largest man-made waterfall is located in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China. This waterfall has a height of 12.5 meters and a width of 400 meters.

This project took two years of completion. Costs to be spent on the Chinese government to build it was 1.1 billion yuan, or about 2.3 billion rupiah.

Built around the waterfall is also a garden to accommodate the visitors. Parks and waterfalls is also simultaneously functioned as a place of recreation for residents.
