No entertainment room, no uniformed staffs, you can’t find anything formal here but cheap and friendly place to stay.
Skyline is located in a fairly busy area. By an easy walk, you can go to the Dusit palaces, Chao Phraya river and Phra Arthit express boat pier. Of course, when you live among these, traffic noise is expected.
Skyline gives you the feel like you are living in a simple Thai-style house. Minimun decoration and no particular style is a signature of Skyline which made travelers never forget.
You can find staffs here have a wonderful English skills, so that you don’t need to worry about communication difficulty. They always welcome customers with a warm smiles and patiently answer every questions.
Skyline also offers a very good meal, customers and passers-by can enjoy rice piled high with authentic Thai curries, stir-fries and salads for just 30 baht a plate. It’s so much more cheaper than the 100 baht American-style breakfasts at many other hostels. The restaurant brings a casual feel of a living room with wooden table, flatscreen TV, violet walls,… At the top floor, there’s a small garden provide a great view of the city.
Price here is quite acceptable: 250 baht per head. There’re many choise rooms for travelers: 6-bed mixed room, private double room, small room with bunk bed, but everyone only pays 250 baht, no more no less. Pricing system here is quite straight. You can be charge 50 more baht for some upgrades.
Every room has air conditioner, and is very clean, spacious. There’s no woman or man- only room, so if you feel uncomfortable with that, you can choose the smaller room.
Each floor has shared bathrooms with toilet next to the shower in the same room. Customers have own lockers, free wifi, and laundry is available.
