Airlines flying Qatar Airways plans to open the world’s longest flying through Doha Airport towards Auckland, New Zealand. The plan is said to be defeated plans new route from Dubai to Panama Emirates airline.
Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker told Bloomberg revealed plans the opening of the longest flights in the world at the Bahrain Air Show. However, there has been no news about the planned launch of the flight route.
As quoted by CNN Travel, towards Auckland Airport Doha flights will use Boeing 777 LR aircraft and can carry 259 passengers.
According to statistics on the website statisca.com, the current world record for the farthest flight achieved by the airline Qantas route Dallas to Sydney.
Plan routes Qatar Airways from Doha towards Auckland will cover a distance of 14 539 kilometers with a travel time of about 18 hours 34 minutes. The travel time will beat Dallas to Sydney route as far as 13 804 kilometers which is 16 hours 55 minutes.
Plan long record-breaking time of flight or distance is the target is always moving. In the spring, Emirates Airlines will overtake the record holder Qantas when it launched the latest of Dubai Airport to Panama City with a travel time of 17 hours 35 minutes.
While the airline Singapore Airlines, which holds the record for world’s longest direct flight until 2013 has claimed to be the record low to be achieved by Emirates and Qatar Airways with the possibility of these plans flights between New York and Singapore.
